Favorite bag ever!!!

I could not be happier with my Falcon wheeled duffle. It's an interesting bag, unlike anything I've owned before, but it's uniqueness is it's strong point. The two compartments make packing so easy. On short trips I can just pack the bottom, and all my belongings stay nice and tight, and on longer trips I'll load up the top compartment as well. The wheels roll smoother and faster than any bag I've ever seen. And the best feature, my memory foam pillow fits perfectly in the top compartment, so I can bring it with me and avoid the uncomfortable hotel pillows that are too large and so very uncomfortable, and ruin my neck. Lastly, the care taken on the little details of this bag also really stand out. The zippers are very tough and high end, the little compartment is a must have, and the handle is smooth and solid. I'll own an ECBC bag the rest of my traveling life, these bags rule!!!!

Loved this bag initially, it's just holding up very poorly...

I ordered the 30" Falcon duffle in early 2015; that said, it's had less than 10 trips as checked luggage because I vary which bag I take depending on the length of my trip. I returned from a 3 day trip within N America several days ago and noticed that the 'nearly indestructible' ballistic nylon is already rubbed through and frayed on several corners, notably where it overlies the plastic support frame on the lower front of the bag. It's also rubbed in areas overlying the harder bottom shell. Looks awful and I would be concerned it would just tear away on a future trip. One of the zipper pulls has already cracked off, and overall the bag is just wearing very poorly for such limited use.
As far as initial construction, I would have also made these suggestions. The bag is very top heavy when packed as a duffle, such that it almost invariably tips forward when you stand it on it's end. The zipper pulls technically do have a hole in them through which to thread a TSA lock, but it's awkwardly situated and certainly not as user-friendly as zipper pulls that have overlapping loop tunnels for a lock cable. Finally, in order to access the top compartment, you have to detach the bag straps and separate the velcro handle, which is a bit of a pain. I bought this bag at the same time as an eBags eTech 25" duffle, which has worn considerably better. Though the eBags duffle is technically shorter, it's also wider, as compared to the ecbc bag which is narrow and longer. My sense is they accommodate the same amount of clothes, etc. The eBags bag incorporates many of the things that are omissions here, at a more reasonable price.
Overall, I loved this bag when it arrived. But it's a tremendous amount of money to pay for a bag that has worn this poorly, and could definitely use a bit of design tweaking. Including the nearly indestructible nylon.
